Special assembly machines: an infinite number of processes

The automatic assembly machines are accounting numerous processes, such as assembly, printing, or testing. The process list is non-exhaustive. Our engineering department continuously develops new solutions to solve any technical demand. Actually, Neyret Group has accumulated hundreds of processes in a 3D library of in-house standards (stations, manipulators, nests, transfers, integrated equipment…).

Furthermore, many kinds of sensors and vision systems have been experienced to check the components integrity during assembly and also the quality and functionality of the product in order to ensure 100% conformity by the machine itself.

QUALITY TESTING

All the machines of Neyret Group include numerous quality check features, components integrity, functionality during assembly and after assembly, in order to warranty 100% good products. Self-test and challenge test stations can be added to check all the machine detection systems.

The quality checks are:

  • Component presence, geometry, appearance, color, defects (burr, “black” spots)
  • Fluid presence: oil, glue, resin, silicone, grease…
  • Printing quality: intensity, sharpness, positioning
  • Characters recognition
  • Assembly quality: good inserting, right inserting force
  • Self-check of the sensors

TEST AND MEASUREMENTS:

  • Force (compression, pulling, stranding, bending)
  • Torque measurements
  • Leaking test/pressure test/flow test
  • Temperature
  • Speed
  • Electrical test: dielectric, conductivity, amps, voltage…
  • Functional test/device good working

Many kinds of sensors are used to perform the tests (capacitive, inductive, laser or optical, analogic or digital). Vision system are also used (intelligent cameras in 2D or 3D, contour meters 2D or 3D) with a long in-house expertise. This is the reason that Neyret Group can carry out many kinds of derisking or feasibility.
