Process Monitoring

A special machine under control

Neyret Group’s machines are designed in order to minimize the production downtime, to maximize production time and to ease the maintenance intervention. Modularity and incorporation of standards are part of the machine design from the beginning. To quickly intervene, the machines are also all remotely equipped, so that the service team can connect at any time on real time.

REMOTE SERVICE

Both the machine PLC and the Vision computer are remotely connected via a secure VPN link, router and software. This allows a high level of security for any industrial equipment without interfering with the customer LAN.

The VPN technology provides a secure solution and implements server authentication by certificates for the remote user and the Remote Interface. The firewall filters IP addresses to grant limited and appropriate rights to each machine. The Alert & Display allows the reporting of alarms and the sending of files in CSV format. The technician can then view WEB pages, take control (VPN) of the machine’s PLC or HMI or Vision computer.

EVENT MONITORING SYSTEM – MOMA

The neyret group’s MOMA (Monitoring Machine) is an optional video surveillance system. MOMA is an event-based monitoring system that records continuous video with several cameras and points sequences on machine default triggers. The triggers can be programmed for any event out of the HMI Alarm or for Event Pages. The video sequences review allows to focus physically on specific machine stoppages in order to make a better assessment on the issue. MOMA is also used during remote live operations, to assist the technicians who run the machine or adjust the machine or repair the machine. The recorder linked to the PLC can store up to 15-21 days of continuous video at 60 ips. Each event triggers a flag facilitating the sequence search that is correlated to the machine stoppage.

DISPLAY KPI’S IN REAL TIME

Each machine includes an HMI (Human Machine Interface) and 4 TV screens to copy the display on each side of the machine. The operator can read the screens from everywhere and then react quickly.

On the HMI display:

  • Production status monitoring (status of stations, speed rate, quantities, scrap);
  • Dynamic graphics summarizing all the data of a production shift or a batch;
  • Visualization of the faults and shutdowns.

DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS (OPTIONAL)

The machine data are collected and ordered in a CSV file.
The compilation of the data is done within a native Pareto file in which the machine performance key indicators are summarized as well as the defects, the rejects, the downtime are ordered by station and by importance. The time is also recorded to evaluate the occurrence and gravity of the defects linked to machine or faulty components.
