Société Guy Neyret

Société Guy Neyret : special-purpose assembly machines

From the beginning, the company SMOP has always supplied the company Société Guy Neyret (alias GNSA) with all the machining and fabricated metal parts. Here at GNSA all the machines are index motion, whatever it is a rotating table (the most common technology) or a linear conveyor. The cam manipulators library is very wide and has been completed in the past 7 years with various electrical manipulators. This unique technology of the Neyret machines is famous. Initially starting in the automotive industry, then rapidly all other industries have been seduced by high performance of the cam actuated machines. Since 2010, the pharmaceutical sector has constantly grown with in the meantime the integration of the FDA validation protocols. GNSA is well-known in assembly automation of what is small and complicated.

LAGNIEL: continuous motion and high-speed machines

Acquired by the group in 2006, this company is older than GNSA but in continuous motion which allows assembly from 200 to 1000 parts/minute. This kind of machine is well fitted to the pharmaceutical business and perfume/cosmetic business. In 2015, Lagniel developed a unique technology of US welding inside the “Dial” at speed up to 600-800 parts / minute. From this date, the growth allowed the company to sell machines to the big international pharmaceutical groups. But Lagniel’s robust continuous kinematics has also appealed to other industry sectors such irrigation drippers used in agriculture, closures and the automotive. The new 10300m2 modern plant erected in 2018 has also contributed to the success of Lagniel.

Franklin Automation: implantation in the United States

NGNA acquired in 2021 Franklin Automation Inc, also designing and manufacturing index assembly machines. The objective is to build locally sophisticated machines with high technological content to serve the US market and to further develop the group in America.
